This excursion runs through the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana, a place where some of the most beautiful villages and farmhouses you will ever see are hidden, places full of magic, resisting the passage of centuries unaltered, and its privileged location facing the sea, sculpts a fairytale scenario.A day trip to enjoy with family or friends, just for you, without crowds or commercial stops.

We will travel along the rugged north coast of the island to the village of Valldemossa. On the way we will leave behind dream villages such as Deià, where the writer Robert Graves spent his last days, Llucalcari, a place of poets and bohemian people, Soller... until we reach our destination, the port of Soller.

Valldemossa is rich in fountains and is surrounded by abundant and leafy vegetation (millenary olive trees, holm oaks and almond trees, etc.), which is why it offers the visitor the sensation of secular calm and quiet. Its narrow and steep streets have a special charm. The parish church, originally from the 13th century, also stands out for its location, although it was extensively renovated in the 18th century.

The main attraction of Valldemossa has been and still is the monastery of the Carthusian monastery, rooms in which the pioneers of French Romanticism in the mid-19th century, the famous Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and his companion, the writer Aurora Dupin, better known by her alias, George Sand, stayed. The traces of their brief, though intense, stay have since given rise to an incessant pilgrimage.

Valldemossa, a place that Frédéric Chopin defined as:

"The most beautiful place in the world to live"

For Mallorcans, Valldemossa has an even more special connotation: it is the birthplace of the island's only saint: Santa Catalina Tomas. Valldemossa was named after a Moorish landowner, Muza. With its exclusively pedestrian cobbled streets and rich cultural heritage, this town is a must see in Mallorca.
There, we will enjoy free time to walk its streets, contemplate the beauty of La Cartuja and taste its exquisite potato cake.

The second part of the route runs through the mountains, leaving aside the steep cliffs and the beautiful views of the landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
We will arrive at the port of Soller and there we will have time to walk by the sea, enjoy one of the most wonderful corners of Mallorca and we will be able to taste one of the best paellas of the Island, in addition with the drinks included in front of privileged views and in a very marine environment,
Throughout the tour you will be accompanied by an official guide from the Balearic Islands who will tell you the most interesting details of all the places you will visit.
